The integral lifting keys fitted in this Clark Drain recessed cover provide the easiest access to the chamber beneath. The keys are neatly contained underneath a pair of simple caps, which are easily removed by gentle prising. Once opened, the keys are lifted out using the recessed finger slots. Once they’re out, it’s a simple case of lifting the cover as you would using a set of traditional keys. Remember to lift from your knees and not from your back, and always take care when lifting heavy items.
The recessed section provides a superb integration option. These well-built covers are designed to be filled with concrete, paving, tarmac, patio slabs or any exterior surface material, they provide a well-disguised entry point. For internal use, you can happily fit them with carpet, laminate flooring, floor tiles and more. They provide the ideal integration inside and out. We’d go as far to say that with the correct care and attention and when they’re fitted by an engineer or DIYer with a reasonable level of skill, your covers will be almost invisible.
